Nunda Township hosts a free document shredding event for township residents on Saturday, September 12, 2026, 8:30–11:30 AM at the Town Hall, 3510 Bay Road, Crystal Lake.

Township Board meetings.

The Township Board meets the second Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM — except April, when the Annual Town Meeting is held on the second Tuesday.

Every meeting is open to the public and streamed live — and a library of past meetings is available on the township's YouTube channel.

Voter Registration

Hall Rental

The Township Hall is available to residents for a nominal $25.00 fee. Email super@nundatownship.com or call (815) 459-4011, option 3.

Well Water Testing

We are a drop-off location for the McHenry County Department of Health well water testing program — sample bottles available during office hours.

Notary Public

Available in the Assessor's office (815) 459-6140 and Road District office (815) 459-4410. Please call ahead to confirm availability.

Garbage & Yard Waste

Township garbage is contracted with MDC (Marengo Disposal) — call 815-568-7274 to set up service. Rates are on the documents page.

Recycling

Recycling programs are run by the Nunda Township Road District — see the Road District recycling page (external link).
